New BYLT Basics at Irvine Spectrum Center

BYLT Basics offers apparel – known for tailored fits and enhanced materials – as well as footwear and accessories, all intended to transition easily from office to training session to night out. The store recently opened near the Cheesecake Factory and Rivian showroom at Irvine Spectrum Center.

Founder/CEO Eric Mear started the company from his garage. Inspired by athletic and Southern California lifestyles, Mear developed custom fabrics and formed partnerships with athletes such as four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski and Olympic gold-medal-winning gymnast Shawn Johnson.

Among the brand’s top fabrics are the Lux, for casual and business casual, and Elite+ for year-round comfort. Both offer maximum flexibility via four-way stretch. A new women’s fabric, Balm, combines buttery-soft comfort, moisture-wicking properties and sun protection for fitted everyday essentials.

Best-selling styles for men include the drop-cut T-shirt, long-sleeve polo, everyday jogger and Limitless bomber jacket. Women flock to the Opal relaxed polo and jogger; Rib long-sleeve split-hem dress; and Serene shacket, a combination of a shirt and jacket. Highlights for kids include the Roamknit hoodie and Ripstop pants.

Many of the most popular items are available in two-, three- or five-packs, among them the jogger pants, thermal long-sleeve shirt and drop-cut V-neck, respectively. BYLT accessories include headwear and sunglasses.
